Information about Kerastase hair products for hair straightening and other Keratin hair products, like the Copola Kreatin Treatment.
As this website is about Keratin hair products, then it needs to mentioned the Kerastase Hair Product range aswell.
Kérastase is a luxury haircare brand under the L’Oréal product umbrella. It is basically a luxury range.Kerastase was established in 1964 in France and the brand quickly expanded in Europe, and then worldwide, with its launch in Japan in 1990 and in North America in 1999. Kérastase is distributed to high-end hair salons only and has several hair straightening, or smoothing, products in its pruduct line.
One very effective product is ‘Kerastase Paris Chronologiste’.
The Kerastase Chronologiste treatment is applied hair very much like a colour would be applied to a full head of hair, section by section.
At a salon, you will then be placed under the Kerastase Micromist, a machine which works to open the hair cuticle with heat, allowing the cuticle to better absorb the treatment, before cooling down the hair to close the cuticle again.
Importantly, as opposed to many other Brazilian keratin hair straighteners, the Kerastase products are free from Formaldehyde, which is a known carcinogenic.

Other popular and well-recieved Kerastase hair products include:
Kerastase soleo relax, Kerastase Nectar Thermique and Kerastase Masquintense.
Another effective hair smoothing system worth a mentioning, is the the Coppola Keratin Complex.
This gel based product is also Formaldehyde free.. The Coppola Keratin Treatment does contain a small amount of an organic aldehyde compound. But this makes this product less irritating than a formaldehyde based hair product. After application on the hair, you will need to keep it moisture free and straight for 72 hours, just like the Brazilian Blow Dry (Brazilian Keratin Treatment). Other straightening methods such as the Brazilian Blowout or the Japanese Straightener can also straighten your hair, effectively. The Japanese method is more costly, and uses more chemicals but it also last longer, up to 10 months.. The Brazilian blowout will not last as long as the Coppola keratin treatment, but it does the job effectively.
